NHH Foundation sets $4.1-million goal

Following its first meeting of the 2026-2027 fiscal year, Northumberland Hills Hospital announces a fundraising goal of $4.1-million in the months ahead.
“These funds will support many priorities across our hospital, including a new mammography unit, cardiac monitors, sterilizers, neonatal warmers, updated surfaces, scopes, stretchers and more,” Foundation Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Cunningham said in the announcement of their new Operational Plan and Budget.
“Our goals are more than ideas on paper – they translate into real change for thousands of people in our region.”
The Foundation is comprised of a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who are passionately committed to improving health care and quality of life for those in West Northumberland. While government funding is meant to sustain hospital operations, it does not cover the critical equipment and technology that directly touch patients and enable life-saving and life-changing treatment every day.
Which is there the Foundation steps in, raising funds each year to support medical equipment and technology, staff education and programs at NHH.
In this connection, the community can expect many meaningful ways to get involve din supporting the hospital, from the return of well-loved signature events to the introduction of new and exciting initiatives designed to deepen impact and connection.
