Young people looking for a summer job, but who also want to be their own boss, are reminded of the annual Summer Company program for budding entrepreneurs aged 15 to 29. The Business and Entrepreneurship Centre of Northumberland program gives you the chance for a $3,000 micro-grant to turn your idea into a reality, along with mentorship and expert guidance to put you on the road to success. The application deadline is May 22 – if you are interested, e-mail BECN@northumberland.cac to request your business plan application.
