NHH announces deadline for 2026 Health Professions Scholarship applications

A deadline of 4 PM Friday, April 17, has been announced for the 2026 Health Professions Scholarship applications, with two $1,500 scholarships available.

Introduced in 2003, the NHH Health Professions Scholarship Program was formed to provide financial assistance to students from west Northumberland who are pursuing a career in the health-care sector – with the hope that these young people would consider bringing their talents and skills back to NHH when it came time to select an employer.

All applicants must be enrolled in (or accepted for enrollment in) a full-time study program, with evaluations based on academic standing, extracurricular activities, a personal testimonial explaining their interest in their chosen health-care field and written references.

The recipients will be announced at a spring meeting of the NHH board of directors.
