Electrical work coming to Covert Street

The Town of Cobourg is advising residents and visitors of work taking place on Covert Street Oct. 13 through 23.

Lakefront Utilities Inc. will be completing upgrades to the electrical grid on Covert Street and at the Covert Street parking lot at this time. Any electrical outages will be communicated to affected customers in advance.

Covert Street will remain open throughout, with a detour in place through the Covert Street parking lot to help maintain access and traffic flow.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution around the work area, and to follow posted signs and directions.
