Port Hope announces free spring Business Series Workshops

The Municipality of Port Hope is pleased to announce a collaboration with the Business and Entrepreneurship Centre and Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce to deliver a four-part Business Series Workshop this spring – an opportunity to upskill or reskill in today's competitive economy.
The series kicks off with a virtual March 20 session on business planning essentials.
On April 10, a session at the Town Park Recreation Centre will explore marketing strategies and how to choose the right approach for your business.
On May 14 at the Community Hub in Canton, participants will learn how to future-proof one's small business with artificial intelligence.
The final session on June 11 will focus on digital video marketing.
“Last year, the municipality, our partners and the whole community came together to support one another through Phase 2 of Walton Street reconstruction, and we not only survived but thrived,” Manager of Economic Development Andrew Wallen said in the announcement.
“The Municipality of Port Hope is proud to continue in this spirit of collaboration to offer on-going opportunities and resources to our local business owners and operators.”
