Some downtown Cobourg street closures will allow snow removal

The Town of Cobourg's Public Works Division announces an overnight snow-removal project that will temporarily close a number of downtown streets.

From midnight to 7 a.m. Friday morning, Feb. 21, a number of street closures will be made to allow this work to proceed

King Street will be closed from Ball/Durham to College Street.
Division Street from Covert to the Esplanade

George Street/Third Street from Orange to the Esplanade

Albert Street from Hibernia to McGill

Charles Street

The town asks drivers to avoid these areas to support safe and efficient operations, though routes will remain open to emergency vehicles only.

The announcement included the town's appreciation of residents' efforts to park off-street for safe and efficient snow removal operations this winter. For questions or concerns, call 905-372-9971.
