No charges following Victoria Hall altercation
No charges are being laid following an incident at Cobourg Town Hall Tuesday night.
Today’s Northumberland reports that a person was yelling at Mayor Lucas Cleveland out front of Victoria Hall.
Councillor Adam Bureau and others intervened and police were called. The unidentified man was taken away by authorities. It's alleged that Halloween decorations were damaged.
Following the police investigation, and in consultation with the victim and in recognition of public interest, no charges were laid and the man was released unconditionally.
