DUI charge laid in Port Hope

A Gores Landing area man is facing impaired and stunt driving following an incident in Port Hope early Monday morning.

Police claim officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Rose Glen Road.

The driver failed to stop at an intersection before being stopped on Peter Street.

The accused is alleged to be intoxicated by alcohol. He will appear in court at a later date.
