Cobourg man facing sex charges

A 27-year-old Cobourg man is facing sex charges, accused of inappropriate texting with a minor.

Authorities began their investigation on Thursday, after receiving a report of a youth receiving unwanted text messages that were sexual in nature from a known individual.

The unidentified man is charged with Invitation to Sexual Touching. The accused was held for bail and released to a surety.
