Northumberland Peterborough South Conservative candidate Philip Lawrence received some high profile help on the campaign trail Saturday in the person of Peter MacKay, a former cabinet minister in the Stephen Harper government.

MacKay attended events in Brighton and Port Hope, and spoke with Pete Campbell at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Hope.
