Northumberland OPP investigating alleged hit and run

Provincial Police are appealing for witnesses in an alleged hit in Northumberland County.

At approximately 9:30 Monday morning, EMS responded to County Road 28, near Ganaraska Road for a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

The motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old man was airlifted to Toronto-area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities are searching for a white sedan, with tinted windows and a possible rear spoiler. Police are working to identify the driver.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP.
