Mayoral candidate announces personal town hall event

In her campaign for the mayor's seat, Cobourg Deputy Mayor Nicole Beatty invites members of the public to a personal Town Hall event Sept. 24 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cobourg.

The announcement cites the opportunity to hear directly from the candidate “and gain valuable insight into her top six priorities targeted at making Cobourg a safer, stronger, more connected town.”

The event will follow an open-mic format, giving attendees an opportunity to listen and ask questions.

Registration is not required. The Legion hall is located at 358 Orr St., and the event runs from 7 to 8 p.m.
