Colborne man charged with B&E

A Colborne man is facing charges in an alleged break and enter.

On Monday, at approximately 2:15 a.m., police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an assault in the area of Margaret and King Streets in Cobourg.

Authorities claim a  man had returned to a home where he had previously been staying.

After being denied entry, he allegedly forced his way inside, causing damage to the property, and became involved in an altercation with two individuals inside.

Connor Hogg is charged. He was released from custody after a bail hearing.
