Northumberland County says residents will move into the new Golden Plough Lodge, long-term care home, later this month.

The move is many months in the making as County officials have been working with the provincial government’s Ministry of Long-Term Care to open the facility, which was anticipated to begin housing residents earlier this year.

Prior to resident move-in, August 23, the community will have an opportunity to tour the new Golden Plough Lodge during a public open house.
