Road construction expected to start Monday near Warkworth

Northumberland County will begin replacing the Salt Creek culvert on County Road 25, south of Warkworth, on Monday.

The project is located between Gravel Road and Pine Grove Road and is part of the County's ongoing investment in maintaining safe, reliable transportation infrastructure.

To complete the work safely and efficiently, County Road 25 will be fully closed throughout construction. Signed detour routes will be in place for local traffic and heavy trucks. Residents, businesses, emergency services, school transportation providers, and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
