Oshawa woman charged in Hamilton Township with sexual assault

An Oshawa woman is facing charges stemming from an alleged historical sexual assault. Provincial Police opened their investigation in late June, regarding allegations that the sexual assaults which occurred between the summer months of 2024 and March 2026 at an address in the Township of Hamilton.

The accused and victim were known to each other during the period in which the incidents are reported to have occurred.

The woman was arrested last week and charged with sexual assault and sexual interfence.  She will appear in Cobourg court in September. Her name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
