Cobourg Police investigate alleged home break-ins

Cobourg Police are investigating two alleged residential break-ins.

Authorities say at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday, a homeowner on Hornback Street reported that jewelry and other valuables were taken.

A few hours later, a second home on Hornback Street apparently suffered a similar break-in, where a quantity of jewelry was stolen.

Police are canvassing for witnesses or surveillance footage of the incidents.
