Already having announced changes to accommodate an extraordinarily heavy agenda for its July council meeting Wednesday, the Town of Cobourg has announced a further change.
The meeting will still begin five hours early – at 1 p.m. on July 22 – but the live-streaming location has changed.
Space in the third-floor council chambers will still be reserved for those speaking to specific items on the council agenda, with an overflow space to which proceedings could be livestreamed originally set in the ground-floor Old Bailey Courtroom. That overflow space has since been changed to the second-floor Concert Hall, which has much more seating capacity.
The agenda contains five items from previous committee meetings that have been extracted for separate discussion – the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, an update on the YMCA Recreation Facility Proposal, the 296 George St. zoning bylaw amendment, and Official Plan and zoning bylaw amendments for 660 Kerr St. W. and 202 Second St. At the time of the original announcement, they also anticipated three delegations, recommendations from the Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Task Force, and 12 items on the consent agenda
