Residents of the Cobourg's King Street West-Pebble Beach Drive area are scheduled for interruptions to their water service Tuesday, July 21.
This is due to the construction taking place as part of the King Street West Reconstruction Project, allowing workers to temporarily isolate those portions of the municipal water-distribution system between 8 a.m. and 5 p,m, in order to connect the newly installed water main.
While most properties will continue to receive water service throughout the work, this westernmost area may experience reduced water pressure or temporary interruptions to their water service at this time.
Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from proceeding as scheduled, it will be planned for Wednesday, July 22.
Meanwhile, the project – which spans from the Cobourg Creek bridge to William/Ontario Street – continues to go well with this final connection to the existing water-distribution system. The project also continues to remain on schedule and on budget.
