Staff member at Warkworth Inst. allegedly assaulted

Correctional Services Canada said one of its staff members at the Warkworth Institution was recently assaulted.

Officials say the alleged incident happened Saturday at the facility, with the staff member being treated in hospital for their injuries.

The suspect has been identified and appropriate action is apparently being taken.
