The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that last month's annual Wine & Ale in the Park was its most successful ever, with more than $54,500 raised.
“Every ticket purchased, glass raised and generous contribution will have a meaningful impact on strengthening health care closet to home,” Foundation Manager of Community Giving Courtney Ker stated in the announcement.
“This milestone wouldn't have been possible without the amazing people and businesses who continue to champion NHH. We extend our gratitude to all our sponsors, attendees and supporters who came together to raise funds and kick off the summer season with us.”
Funds raised will help NHH continue to care for the growing Northumberland community by investing in priority medical equipment and technology to ensure patients have access to local high-quality care when they need it.
Proudly presented for the 11th year by local realtor Tony Pulla/ReMax Route River Realty Ltd., the event took place June 25 in Cobourg's Victoria Park, with pairing stations that offered local cuisines and a variety of wines and ales from Northumberland-area vendors.
Joining Pulla as a returning sponsor, Sydney Fairman of the Sydney Fairman Group once again showed her support of NHH as the exclusive beverage sponsor for the evening.
Station sponsors who played a key role in the event's success included Nikolovsky Wealth Management, BMO Private Wealth, Quantrill Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, Global Maxfin Investment Inc., Mistral Group, White Glove Window Cleaning, Leblanc Enterprises, Assante Wealth Management, Stadtke Plumbing and Heating, Marigold Mansion, Elliott Insurance and realtor Deanne Henderson.
