Roseneath man charged with DUI

A 22-year-old G1 driver from Roseneath is charged with impaired driving in Cobourg.

Authorities allege the man ran a red light just before midnight on Tuesday at the intersection of King Street West and William Street.

While speaking to the driver, police claim to have smelled alcohol.

He was charged with several offenses including driving while suspended and DUI.
