Port Hope man charged in alleged B&E in Cobourg

A Port Hope man is facing charges in an alleged break and enter in Cobourg.

Authorities claim early Monday morning officers responded to a building in the area of Furnace Street and Victoria Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man fleeing the scene and initiated a foot pursuit. The individual was apprehended, and officers located a wagon containing copper coils nearby.

The man was held for a bail hearing.
