Waterfront Festival brings street and parking-lot closures

The Town of Cobourg has issued a reminder on what streets and parking lots are affected by this year's extra-long Waterfront Festival, which takes place June 27 through July 1.

Until July 1, the Esplanade and its parking lots, Charles Street and Division Street south of Albert are closed.

A one-day July 1 closure of King Street will take place on July 1 between William and D'Arcy, from 7 a.m. until the Canada Day Parade is complete. In advance of this, no overnight parking is permitted on King Street June 30. Vehicles left on the parade route will be ticketed and towed.

In addition the Esplanade parking lot, the Albert Street lot will be closed through July 1. And except for boaters, the marina parking lot is closed Saturday, June 27, Sunday, June 28, and Wednesday, July 1.
