More than $154,000 in community funding has been awarded to local organizations through Brighton’s 2026 Community Grant Program.

The Municipality of Brighton says a total of $154,809 will support non-profit and community organizations that provide programs, services, and events aimed at improving quality of life and strengthening the local economy within Brighton. Funding was distributed through three grant streams: Community Project Grants, Community Investment Grants, and Non-Profit Major Grants.

This year's recipients include organizations such as The Brighton Computer Club, Codrington Farmers’ Market, Community Care Northumberland, Home Rainbow Youth Centre, Save our Heritage Organization, and Gift from the Heart.

The annual program helps the Municipality's commitment to support organizations that contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community within Brighton.
