Colborne man charged with DUI

A Colborne man is facing impaired driving charges in an alleged collision on Lakeport Road.

Provincial police responded to the crash Friday night to find a vehicle in the ditch.

The driver was uninjured, but police suspected impaired driving.

Authorities say after further testing at the local detachment, the driver’s blood alcohol was above the legal limit.

The accused will appear in Cobourg court in July.
