The Town of Cobourg has announced several closures in (and in the vicinity of) the Cobourg Community Centre on D'Arcy Street that will run through Wednesday, May 6.
While registered user groups and activity members have been notified of the change, access on Wednesday to the CCC campus (including adjacent buildings) will be restricted. For information on how to access the Northumberland Fare Share food bank, visit www.fareshare.ca
The CCC will be the site of a private funeral service Wednesday morning for OPP Sgt. Brandon Malcolm. It is not open to the general public, though the OPP will provide details on a livestream of the service. Expressions of condolence may be shared at opp.ca/news
The walking track is closed until 5 PM Wednesday, and – from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the day – there will be rolling road closures and traffic delays on D'Arcy Street, Division Street and surrounding roads.
Across the street, at Venture 13, the parking lot will be closed to the public Wednesday until about 5 PM.
