Cobourg man charged in alleged historical sexual assault

A Cobourg man is facing charges in an alleged historic sexual assault.

Police opened their investigation late last month in that the assault occurred in 2023.

Last week, a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexual assault.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
