Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation is celebrating a generous $25,000 gift from Nuclear Laboratory Partners of Canada Inc., the new parent company of Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.

The announcement noted that this gift demonstrates their commitment to supporting the community in which its subsidiary has long operated, executing the Port Hope Area Initiative.

Foundation Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Cunningham expressed her delight at the new partnership.

“This early gift shows NLPC's interest and action in supporting and recognizing the important role our hospital plays in the lives of so many in our community,” Cunningham said.

NLPC prioritizes community engagement wherever it operates, CNL Chief Executive Officer Dennis Carr said, and supports NHH because of its wide-reaching impact on the lives of local residents.

“We strongly believe that being a responsible corporate citizen means investing in the well-being of the communities where we live and work,” Carr said.

“We are proud to support the NHH Foundation, and hope this contribution helps ensure that high-quality care remains accessible to everyone in Northumberland County.”
