Retired teacher facing additional sex crimes against minors

A retired Cobourg elementary school teacher is charged with additional sex crimes involving minors.

Jack Vollering was initially charged last month, following an investigation of a historical sexual assault at St. Michael Catholic Elementary School around 1992-93.

More people came forward with further allegations. Vollering was arrested yesterday, charged with three counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference on a minor, sexual exploitation and three counts of indecent assault on a female. Vollering was held for a bail hearing and later released.
