Hamilton Township woman charged with fraud

A Hamilton Township woman is facing fraud charges.

Late last year, Port Hope Police Service and Cobourg Police Service began a joint investigation into Rise and Thrive Support Services in response to allegations that the Director of the business was engaging in fraudulent activity impacting vulnerable people in Northumberland County.

Cayla Snetsinger is charged with fraud, forgery, theft and drug possession.

She was remanded into custody.
