The Town of Cobourg is putting out the call for interested parties to apply for positions on the Library Board and the Police Services Board.

Five to seven members are needed for the library board to help shape its future with such duties as setting strategic priorities, overseeing the CEO's performance and monitoring financial stewardship.

For the police board, one community member is needed to help provide civilian governance and oversight of the Cobourg Police Service.

For more information, or to apply, visit www.Cobourg.ca/committees. The deadline to apply for both is Nov. 20.
