The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation annual on-line auction in support of its Singin' In The Rain: Hollywood Style gala has gone live.
Bidding is now open for more than 120 items and experiences until 7 p.m. Nov. 10, with proceeds – from the auction and from the gala – helping to modernize breast-health care at NHH through such key investments as a new 3D mammography unit with contrast capabilities, an ultrasound machine, a bone-mineral density scanner and wire-free breast-tissue localization technology.
Auction chair Therese Brennan-Hunt said the support from businesses and individuals for this project is remarkable every year.
“We are very grateful to all those who donated for their willingness to support our hospital,” Brennan-Hunt said in the announcement.
“This year, with some exciting new items as well as many returning favourites, there really is something for everyone”
