A Port Hope man is facing impaired driving charges, following a crash on County Road 45 last July, in which the Ontario Special Investigations Unit was invoked.

Provincial Police say the crash happened just after midnight, following a high-speed chase with officers.

The unidentified man is also facing dangerous operation of a motor vehicle charge and will appear in court Wednesday.
