Cobourg woman charged in alleged downtown thefts

A Cobourg woman is charged in alleged vehicle thefts in the downtown area.

On Saturday morning, police received multiple reports of theft from vehicles in the area of King Street West and Burnham Street.

Witness accounts and surveillance video was used to help identify the suspect. The unidentified woman is charged with three counts of theft and later released on bail.
