Colborne man charged with assault

A Colborne man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting another person with a construction tool.

OPP were called to an altercation on King Street West in Colborne to  an altercation, where one person apparently sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene , but was later arrested on Church Street East. The man who is facing several charges will appear in Cobourg Court in October.
