OPP investigate alleged ambulance theft

Police are investigating the theft of a Northumberland County in Colborne. OPP allege officers were called to William Street late Sunday night.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were attending a residence and upon returning to the ambulance, discovered that it had been taken. The vehicle was recovered a short time later at another location in town and was found unoccupied.

The OPP Canine Unit (K9) attended to assist officers in the investigation and no individuals were located. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
