Cobourg woman arrested for alleged drug possession

A 28-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after being arrested on a warrant.

On July 28, the Safer Streets officers conducted a compliance check on a female and discovered that the female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Police arrested the female. During the arrest, police located a small quantity of Fentanyl in her possession.

As a result, the 28-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with failing to attend court and possession of a schedule 1 substance. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.
