Keep EarlyON in mind for March Break family fun

With March Break coming up, Northumberland EarlyON Child and Family Centres have planned a fun-filled week of free family drop-in programming designed to spark curiosity and creativity and help families build meaningful memories together.

Opportunities include:

Monday, March 10 – Gym Exploration from 9 a.m. to noon at East Northumberland Secondary School (71 Dundas St., Brighton)

Tuesday, March 11 – Senior-and-tot skate from 11 a.m. to noon at the Keeler Centre (80 Division St., Colborne)

Tuesday, March 11 – Jr. Hike at the Carstairs Trail from 10 a.m. to noon (located at 1280-1296 Bowmanton Rd., Roseneath)

Thursday, March 13 – Hastings Field House fun from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hastings Field House (97 Elgin St., Hastings)

Thursday, March 13 – New Parent Hike from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Carstairs Trail

Thursday, March 13 – Walk With EarlyON from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Baltimore Recreation Centre (23 Community Centre Rd., Baltimore)

Thursday, March 13 – Storytime and Gym Exploration from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Alnwick-Haldimand Public Library/Civic Centre (9059 County Rd. 45, Roseneath)

Friday, March 14 – Grandfriends at the Golden Plough Lodge from 10 a.m. to noon at the Golden Plough Lodge (983 Burham St., Cobourg – please use Burnham Street entrance).

There will also be various indoor and outdoor exploration programs throughout the week – visit KEyON.ca to see a complete list.

The EarlyON Family Fun Bingo challenge also continues throughout March break, offering plenty of opportunities for families to check off spaces on the card for the chance to win – visit Northumberland.ca/EarlyON for details and to print a copy – cards are due March 28.
