OPP investigate alleged theft in Brighton

Northumberland OPP are investigating an alleged recent theft in Brighton. Last Wednesday, OPP  received a report of a stolen power tool from a commercial business on Oliphant Street.

The theft occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m., and the item taken was a nail gun valued at approximately $730. The suspect left the scene in a blue vehicle with a loud exhaust.

Investigators are seeking to identify this individual and are releasing images of the person and the vehicle involved. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
