The Town of Cobourg reminds residents that winter parking bylaws – enacted to ensure safe and efficient show removal operations during the winter season – are now in effect until March 31.

The bylaws recognize the importance of keeping collector and arterial roads clear for safe person. The Town of Cobourg has an online interactive map to show applicable streets.

On these roads during the winter parking season, no vehicle is to be parked between the hours of 2 and 7 a.m. As well, parking is forbidden any time on all cul-de-sacs and wide corners. For the winter months, there is no parking on Havelock Lane, Ball's Lane, Park Lane, Jex Lane, Caddy Drive, and John Fairhurst and New Amherst lay-bys.

The Town of Cobourg appreciates the efforts of its residents in parking off-street to assist with snow removal operations, For more information, visit www.cobourg.ca/snow
