A Christmas concert with a dose of jazz is in the works, as the Port Hope Jazz Festival announces the second annual Brian Barlow Holiday Show Nov. 29 at Port Hope United Church.
The music of Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be a great way to kick off your festive season following the Santa Claus Parade at an all-ages event with wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available.
The concert takes place in advance of a special milestone, as 2026 is the festival's 25th anniversary year. The festival date is Aug. 20 to 23, and plans are underway for some special shows to celebrate.
The Nov. 29 concert is a family-friendly event, featuring Justin Bacchus and Kalya Ramu.
Port Hope United Church is located at 34 South St. An accessibility ramp and free parking are available, and tickets are available exclusively through Eventbrite - $35 for adults, half price for students, and free for children aged 12 and under.
