The Town of Cobourg and the Cobourg Downtown Business Improvement Area announce the return of a holiday tradition – two hours of free parking for downtown shoppers until Jan. 1.

The free two-hour period applies to all downtown metered streets and municipal parking lots in an effort to encourage residents and visitors to shop locally and support downtown businesses.

Regular downtown meter rates are $2.25 per hour.

Vehicles parked beyond the two-hour free period will be subject to regular enforcement and may receive parking tickets.
