A major fundraiser to support hospice care in Cobourg raised over $70,000.

Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre Foundation’s Hike, Bike and Bark for Hospice saw over 220 participants and 60 dogs walk, run or bike the 2K, 5K and 10K on routes in Cobourg on Saturday September 28.

Several volunteers and supporters of Ed’s House Hospice Care participated in the event from Europe while on vacation. Selena Forsythe was the top individual fundraiser at $10,650.

This is one of Executive Director Trish Baird’s final fundraisers as she is retiring from Community Care Northumberland after 36 years at the helm.
