Cobourg senior facing drug charges

A senior with an alleged history with Cobourg Police is facing drug charges.

On Thursday at approximately 10:30 a.m., an officer on foot patrol in the area of McGill Street and King Street East observed a man smoking what was believed to be drugs.

The man was arrested. During the arrest, a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine was located on him.

The man will appear in court in November. Police claim to have 28 interactions with the man over the past year, leading to four arrests.
