Cobourg

The Town of Cobourg would like to notify the public on construction work planned for Victoria Hall's main doors Thursday, Oct. 2.

Contractors will be performing accessibility upgrades and door maintenance, starting at 8:30 a.m. The work is expected to be completed within one business day.

With the building's front doors out of service, Customer Service staff will move from the lobby to tables that will be set up in front of Victoria Hall. As well, staff members will be available to speak with community members on the street regarding the town's Multi-Year Accessibility Plan and to encourage them to provide their own input on this important strategy.

As for those requiring access to Victoria Hall, the east and west entrances will be open. Customer Service staff will also assist in directing members of the public who require access to the town's departments and services.

Meanwhile, a survey deadline on the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (for 2026-2030) has been extended to Oct. 2 at 11:59 p.m. The survey is available on the town's community-engagement platform EngageCobourg.ca
