Sections of Highway 401 in the County closed due to collisions

Northumberland OPP say stretches of Highway 401 are closed in the County. According to the OPP Central Region X page, eastbound traffic is closed at Grafton and the westbound lanes at Brighton are closed.

OPP say officers are responding to multiple collisions. Due to inclement weather and reduced visibility, motorists are advised to avoid any non-essential travel.
