Cobourg man accused in B&E’s

A 55-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges in relation to a break and enter.

On Thursday, at approximately 4:00 a.m., it's alleged a man entered a business on William Street in Cobourg and stole several food items. At approximately 1:00 p.m., the same man is accused of re-attended to steal more food items.

Police identified the suspect on video surveillance, and he was located and arrested

He was charged with Breaking and Entering, Theft Under $5,000, Possession of Property obtained by Crime, and Failure to comply with probation order. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
