OPP discover human remains south of Peterborough

Peterborough OPP say it is investigating what are believed to be human remains in the area of Fourth Line in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.

Police Wednesday stated there was an increased presence in the area as the investigation continues and the remains were removed.

Authorities assure there is no threat to public safety. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP.
