I have been a resident of Cramahe now for 6 years as we wanted to move closer to our daughter's family and the grandchildren.
I have been married  41 years now to my beautiful bride and we currently have 5 grandchildren 3 of which live in town.

My background includes restaurant management at the Keg Restaurants and more recently National Sales Manager with Royal Doulton, Waterford and Wedgwood and division of Fiskars. Currently semi-retired but still very active in business and in the community.

I took the initiative to apply for the new HGTV Show Hometown Takeover and was tasked to create a video promoting our town with the hopes of having the TV show do a makeover in our town. Although we did not win the selection I will continue to look for ways of promoting our community. For the past two years was involved in the local Parks and Recreation committee tasked with raising funds for the Elgin Street Sports Park upgrades and arranging local events to involve the community either with the Touch a Truck event, Breakfast with Santa and the Santa Claus Parade. Since January of this year have been volunteering at the local food bank stock shelves and filling orders for people in need.

Our community is growing and I want to ensure that we have the infrastructure to handle this growth whether it be upgrading our roads, providing affordable housing and ensuring our schools can handle an increase in students. Attracting new business and supporting our existing businesses is key to growing our tax base and ensuring our tax dollars are carefully spent in order to reduce waste.
